We loved the nearby restaurants and craft beer spots. Perfect for everything from swimming to surfing contests! Just be ready for some noise when you're nearby the action.
The barking dog next to us was a bit much at times, making it hard to get some sleep.

The location near the beach is fantastic, and the friendly staff made everything enjoyable. However, the bathroom sink area is quite small, and noise from the lively neighborhood can be disruptive at times. Overall, it's a charming place to unwind.

I had a wonderful stay at Ocean Beach. My room, a Standard Queen Room, was tidy, equipped with modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, fridge, and coffee maker. The location is ideal, with numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance. The courtyard ambiance was inviting, and the friendly staff made me feel welcome. The accessibility to the beach was a significant highlight, perfect for my work and relaxation.
The bathroom shelving was inconveniently low.

Had a great ocean view from the balcony, offering a picturesque sight of the beach right across the street. The location boasts a lively atmosphere with shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy to explore on foot.
No elevator means hauling luggage up three flights of stairs, which can be quite the workout. The room felt smaller than expected, and if you're sensitive to noise, thin walls might be an issue since you can hear everything from neighboring rooms. The area has its share of homeless encampments, giving it a gritty vibe that might not feel safe for families. While the beachfront is nice, it's heavily populated by surfers rather than a more relaxing crowd. Overall, the old building could use some renovations to freshen up the experience.

I enjoyed my stay at Ocean Beach, particularly because the location made everything so accessible. The beach was just a short walk away, and there were plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby, which was perfect for my dining needs. The pet-friendly atmosphere truly elevated my experience. I loved that I could bring my dog without additional fees. My room featured a comfy bed, a fridge for snacks, and a great view of the ocean. However, I did encounter some issues. The room felt a bit cramped, and I struggled with the HVAC unit's noise near my bed. Additionally, the walls were quite thin, making it difficult to block out noise from other guests. The parking situation was somewhat limited at times too, which was a bit frustrating. Despite these inconveniences, the overall vibe of the hotel and the friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. I appreciate that the staff was always willing to help when I needed assistance.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but worth it for the family vibe.
